Pepper Pike

Pepper Pike

Pepper Pike takes pride in being “close to everything,” offering access to a strong community with excellent amenities, peaceful suburban living, and the conveniences of the Greater Cleveland metropolis.

This 7-square mile suburban community in the eastern section of Cuyahoga County is home to approximately 6,000 residents. Located 12 miles east of downtown Cleveland, it is bordered by Mayfield Heights on the north, Beachwood on the west, Hunting Valley on the East, and Moreland Hills, Orange, Woodmere on the south.

Pepper Pike used to be a farming community, with dairy farming and cheese production being their primary industries. Its urbanization began in the late 1800s, when the Chagrin Falls-Cleveland Interurban Railway was built and made commuting to downtown Cleveland significantly easier.

Today, Pepper Pike has earned the distinction of being the “greenest” municipality in Cuyahoga County. Locals actively participate in community recycling programs and tree-planting activities and take personal pride in the overall well-being of their surroundings.
