The spirit of the holidays is alive throughout Cleveland this time of year, and there are many activities and destinations to enjoy! Whether you’re shopping for the perfect gift, looking forward to live performances, or planning to end your year in style at a fun New Year’s Eve event, there’s a wide variety of attractions and events for you to enjoy this holiday season.
Here are some great holiday activities for you to check out in Cleveland:
Holiday festivities at Holly Hall
Holly Hall in Chagrin Falls has tons of fun activities and attractions in store this holiday season. During the past couple of years, holiday activities were always sponsored by a single organization. However, it’s extra special this year as downtown merchants, civic groups, arts organizations, and the village government all collaborate to bring joy to the season.
Watch out for photo ops with Santa, horse and carriage rides in the shopping plaza, concerts and performances, and other fun holiday activities by checking out Give! Chagrin Valley’s Facebook page.
“A Christmas Carol” at Playhouse Square
Celebrate a northeast Ohio holiday tradition by witnessing a spectacular retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas tale at Playhouse Square. Performed by the Great Lakes Theater company, “A Christmas Carol” is perfect for audiences of all ages.

General Electric’s manufacturing facility in Nela Park also produces the lights and ornaments that adorn the White House’s National Christmas Tree each year.
Catch a holiday concert at The Cleveland Orchestra
Enjoy a series of holiday concerts and special events this year presented by The Cleveland Orchestra and Orchestra Chorus. Some of the shows scheduled this holiday season include:
