Enjoying your breakfast at a leisurely pace on a weekday is next to impossible, especially if you are facing a mountain of work that day. On that note, breakfasts on weekends deserve a bit more fanfare, don’t you think?

To celebrate coveted weekends, let us all treat ourselves to brunch at some of the best spots in all of Northern Ohio.

  1. Aurelia
16 N Main St, Chagrin Falls, OH

Looking for honest food and drink in Northern Ohio? What you seek can be found at Aurelia in Chagrin Falls.

James Balchak (Aurelia’s executive chef) and his team only use the best and freshest ingredients, locally sourced from the area’s farms and fisheries. The result? “Local fresh.” These range from scrumptious seared scallops to a lovely dessert of blueberry maple ice cream, house-made.

Brunch at Aurelia is available every Saturday and Sunday. It can get crowded, so call ahead and make a reservation at 440-600-7770.

  2. Luna Bakery & Cafe

Luna Bakery & Cafe is a top contender if you’re in the mood for a light yet satisfying weekend brunch. Their menu features simple yet well-made dishes, with components that include seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. On weekends, the breakfast menu is available until 12 noon.

In case the Cleveland Heights location is full, head to Luna Bakery & Cafe’s outpost in Moreland Hills, which opened last June 2018. You can view the menu for that branch here.
