Celebrate Independence Day 2021 with a bang with Light Up the Lake, a family-friendly 4th of July celebration presented by The City of Cleveland and the Downtown Cleveland Alliance.
Witness the best fireworks show in Northeast Ohio by heading to one of several viewing areas in Downtown Cleveland:
- Port of Cleveland’s Dock 20 (main location)
- Flats East Bank – Flats East Bank Boardwalk, Lago Veranda, Margaritaville, Punch Bowl Social Rooftop, Settlers Landing, and other dining venues.
- Flats West Bank – Jacobs Pavilion, Music Box Supper Club, Shooters on the Water, Superior Viaduct, Wendy Park, and Whiskey Island.
- North Coast Harbor – Edgewater Beach, Kirtland Park, and Voinovich Bicentennial Park.
Cleveland Indians vs. Houston Astros

July 2 to 4, 2021
Start your Independence Day weekend by watching the Cleveland Indians take on the Houston Astros at home. A fireworks display will follow the games on Friday and Saturday, and there will be a daytime game on Sunday, July 4.

Goodtime III 4th of July Yacht Charter
Celebrate the 4th of July with an unforgettable night of dinner and dancing on the water! Witness Cleveland’s dazzling fireworks display from a unique vantage point: right from the deck of the Goodtime III. After the fireworks, there will be live music on one of the decks and a DJ on another as you dance and bob your head to the music while cruising through the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie throughout the evening.

The festival will be The Cleveland Orchestra’s first public performance in more than a year, as they treat audiences to favorites such as Copland’s “Appalachian Spring,” Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” Bernstein’s “Overture to Candide,” Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” and more.
