Online Tours

Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) at Oberlin College

AMAM is presenting some of the museum’s previously canceled programs and exhibits in modified format on social media – follow them on Facebook for their #DeepDive sessions, a series of interviews with art curators. Find out what they have to say about the works of Francisco Goya, Hung Liu, and other great artists.

The museum also conducts webinars and Zoom interviews on their social media accounts, so stay tuned for schedules.

Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland

Take a virtual tour of the Federal Reserve Building in Downtown Cleveland. Built in 1923, the marble-clad, Italian Renaissance-inspired building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The virtual tour also offers a glimpse of the Learning Center and Money Museum housed inside the building.

Hancock Historical Museum

Get your dose of Ohio history with “Museum From Home,” which offers printable historical places and events coloring books, a time capsule, and scavenger hunt guides for the kids to enjoy at home.

The museum has also made their social media photo archives available on the site – view old images and paintings chronicling Hancock County’s colorful history.

Imagination Station

With their science center temporarily closed, Imagination Station brings you “Stay at Home Science” through which they hope to continue providing informal science education to communities in Toledo and elsewhere in Ohio.

From flower dissection to weather wheels, Imagination Station regularly adds a new activity with accompanying photos and videos for the kids to enjoy at home.

Kennedy Museum of Art at Ohio University

The Kennedy Museum of Art has taken their exhibitions online – take a virtual tour of on-going exhibits like “Pattern and Disruption: Diné Lifeways and Embedded Mathematics,” “Picture the World: Burhan as Photographer,” and “Collaborative Cyanotypes!,” just to name a few.

Their drop-in program, Sunday Family Art Encounters, is now online, with “At-Home Art Encounters” that you and the kids can enjoy in the comfort of your own living room.

You can also follow the museum on Instagram to view their “Object of the Day from the Collections Vault” series.

Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) Cleveland

MoCA Cleveland features a different artist each week in a series of Facebook Live events called “15 Minutes Of…” in which the featured artist creates a work of art in just under 15 minutes. It’s a wonderful way to discover homegrown talent while allowing art lovers a closer look at their favorite artist’s creative process.

The series has featured mixed-media artist Morgan Bukovec, Wizzbang Studios Director Shawn Kerns, and graphic designer Nolan Beck-Rivera.

Check their Facebook for more information.
