Adventure Summer Camp at Adrenaline Monkey
Adrenaline Monkey is a parkour facility that hosts week-long summer camps and programming. The facility offers a combination of indoor and outdoor activities that will help develop physical fitness, mental toughness, and confidence in children of all skill levels. Participation in various games, exercises, and competitions will also teach them how to work in a team and develop leadership skills.
Children ages 5 to 12 can explore Adrenaline Monkey’s ninja warrior obstacle courses, aerial ropes, and climbing walls under the supervision of trained staff. Participants are grouped by age, interest, and ability. 2022 summer camp dates run from August 1 to 19. Reserve a slot for your child here.
Summer Riding and Horsemanship Camp at Chagrin Valley Farms
Young horse lovers will enjoy Chagrin Valley Farm’s summer riding and horsemanship camps. These weeks-long summer camps in Chagrin Falls are open to children and teens of all levels. Summer riding camps teach children basic riding skills and safety as well as instill an appreciation for the horses that call the farm home.
Horsemanship camps, on the other hand, invite children to experience the duties and responsibilities of horse ownership.Activities include feeding, tacking, grooming, and caring for the horses on the farm along with daily riding lessons to help them develop their confidence and riding skills.
2022 summer riding camp dates run from August 1 to 19. Aside from their summer camp, the farm also hosts mini-camps throughout the year.
Summer courses at Wild Lily Art Studio
This local studio offers summer courses, art classes, and one-time workshops to children of all ages in Chagrin Falls. The studio also hosts children’s parties and other private events. All classes are taught by certified art instructors who will bring out your child’s inner artist. Classes are available by appointment only, so call ahead to set a schedule with the studio.
SummerREAD Storytime at Riverside Park
SummerREAD Storytime invites children of all ages and skill levels to unlock their imagination through storytelling, singing, and painting and drawing. One of their events is scheduled for August 5, 2022 at Riverside Park, which creates a magical setting for the event’s animal-themed stories. All children attending the event must be accompanied by a guardian.
Summer Programs at Cleveland Metroparks
Cleveland Metroparks offers a wide variety of summer camps for children at various parks throughout Greater Cleveland. From urban line dancing to forming a traditional West African drum circle, there’ll be plenty of activities to join from August through September.
Nature Artists One-Day Camp at Rocky River Reservation
The Rocky River Nature Center will host a one-day art camp for children ages nine to 12 on August 12, 2022. Campers will be encouraged to express their creativity using a variety of art materials while spending time in nature. Children are not required to have any prior artistic experience to participate.
